Littleoleme2's way of counting

Postby littleoleme2 » Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:03 pm

Hi

I am a newbie here, it was nice to see the .co.uk on the end of the URL!

I don't have to tell you how long I have been quit cos I have the little thingy at the bottom now - (Thanks Marg xxx)

I have had a smooth ride really as I am taking Champix, I often think of you guys going Cold Turkey and wish you well, I tried several times but didn't have the willpower to fight, so to anyone reading this that has quit Cold Turkey, I take my hat off to you.
I can not count the ways and times I have tried to quit and failed. This time it has worked.

I have not yet passed my record for not smoking, but when I do I will hold a party in here, your all welcome, bring a virtual bottle and some virtual nibbles, thinking about it! wait when I reach that stage, I will buy you all a virtual drink, Damn the expense ! or as My old Nan would say, Give the cat a canary.

How I have been counting the days,.. well I started off the days knowing them 1 2 3 4 5 etc, then 10, 11 12 etc, then I found myself saying to my husband, How many days is it now? I can only see this as a good sign.

This evening I am feeling positive, I can assure you it hasn't been like that all through the last 32 days I had my doubts this morning!
But I am here.
Thank you for having me

You may be on champix but your quit is just as amazing as anyones hun and don't you forget it, you still have to have willpower and a change of attitude towards smoking, I never could go cold turkey either, I'm still quit and it was still an awesome thing to achieve :)

Loving your ticker, now you never need to forget how long you've been free and on the road to recovery :Give_A_Heart: :Give_A_Heart:

Please your here hun :Good:
