Hi all
last week or so been feeling a bit crap getting really stressed at work and i have been thinking about smoking most of the time,but the last 2 days i have been good hardly even thought about smoking and feeling in control so hoping im over the worst.
I have also drop down my patch size today on the advice of my quit nurse from 25mg to 15 mg

I have been quit for 1 Month, 1 Week, 4 Days, 2 hours, 59 minutes and 41 seconds (42 days). I have saved £315.93 by not smoking 1,263 cigarettes. I have saved 4 Days, 9 hours and 15 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 26/12/2009 09:30

It can grab you like that sometimes Dave and it can hold on for a few days and just when you think I can't take much more of this it loosens it's grip on you and another battles been won

Huge well done for not allowing the addiction to make decisions for you, slowly but surly you will be more and more in control, never hesitate to come and get your self some support when it's tough, it's what the forums here for

Keep trucking hun, your doing really so very well and soon enough it will loosen it's grip so much you will leave it all behind :Good:

Well done for staying off them, stressy times can make you feel like packing in the quit and saying the time's not right. The fact is the time would never be right!!

Its great that the last 2 days gave been better though. Once I had a few months under my belt I found that I became less susceptible to stress.

so pleased the last few days have been easyer. Has the others have said the longer you go the easyer it gets. Also well done on dropping the patches just remember if you feel a litte edgy it only lasts about 72 hour for things to ajust. Dont forget we are here when you need us.xxxxx

hoping im over the worst of it now as the last few days ive been feeling great,also i haven't noticed any difference since dropping patch size.

Quit number 4 - in 5 years
Have tried 24hr patch, couldn't sleep
16hr patch - started smoking again
Inhalator - started smoking again
4mg chewing gum - started smoking again
2mg chewing gum - started smoking again

31st May 2009 This time small amount of NRT chewing gum for first 3 days then CT
