Believe me - I'm a fully qualified expert at being dopey. Cant remember what my tongue looked like before though having looked at it so no real result there - hehehehe

OK, so it's not all that relevant to smoking but I love it anyway!

Aww thanks Linda,

I really hope this is the one for me too.

Had quite a bit of a crave about 30mins ago after I finished my dinner and my mums cigs where on the kitchen counter but I walk right past them to the freezer and gave myself a massive helping of ice cream...yum  and by then the crave had gone.
It's not easy, but I like a challenge

Was smoking 15-20 a day for about 11 years.. not anymore!

:YaY: :YaY: :YaY: :YaY: :YaY: :YaY: thats the way Lottiee, a big trigger got past and each time you resist it gets easier.
Good on you for getting straight back on the quit and I too am glad that you could see how the smokes weren't doing anything for you at all.
You're nearly through day 1 by now and you're doing great :Good:

Lottiee wrote:Hey, thanks for the lovely welcome back!!

Just finished lunch at work, would have posted earlier but work has been manic!

No major craves today. just a few habity sort of feelings that I feel like I'm missing something.

You know what I noticed when I looked in the mirror a while ago?? That I have a nice pink tongue! :Raspberry2:  Because I haven't smoked all day I haven't got that nastiness on it... I don't know why I didn't notice that last week....but it made me giggle :Raspberry2:

I've decided not to think about tomorrow or the rest of the week, just focusing on today and making it through....taking baby steps

Hope everyone is well

Mental note to Lilac, when I get off the sofa, I must look at my tongue in the mirror! I am hoping it is all shiny and pink! How cool!
