Starting day 2

Starting day 2

Postby SnowWight » Sat Mar 06, 2010 12:09 pm

Hi all. Didn't get to post on day 1 as had an awful day at work and was ready for bed as soon as I got home!!!

I am taking Champix (start of day 12 of that). Feel ok but v. v. tired all the time. The nausea has mostly gone now I have stopped smoking.

My main challenges are that my Hubby smokes and that I work as a prison nurse, so all my patients are smoking around me :Blinkie:

Feel really confident this time.......if I made it through the day I had yesterday, I can make it through anything!!!!!!

Hi SW

Well done day 2 is great :YaY: :YaY:

Feeling tired is normal hun no matter what we use to help us it's all part of quitting

Sorry you're surrounded by smokers but you'll do it I worked with smokers as well and it was a nightmare at times but I got through OK

wow SW how comes they can smoke around you? I thought the law stopped everyone from smoking in a work place? that's not good at all,

Well done you on day 2, it's going to be such a wonderful achievement to come through this with all these hurdles, it can be done, it is doable, you can do this :Good: :Give_A_Heart:

best of luck for your quit.. despite all the smokers you come into contact with you can at least quit yourself. Sometimes proving to yourself you can do it is the main challenge, but a very rewarding one.

So good luck! hope you do this!

Hi Snowwhite.
Well done for getting to day two, thats great, you will be soon thinking the people around you smell, cause of their smoking and believe it if you are like me will find that awful, I have friends who smoke and the smell really gets up my nose, never thought I would noticed that much, but you do. Got me thinking oh my I must of smelt like that when I smoked. Not good.
Keep going you will do it.
Take care.
Love.
Jilly.

Well done one day 2!

It must be such a pain with the prisoners smoking round you, but you are right if you can cope with days like that then you can cope with anything!
