Postby kitkat » Mon Feb 08, 2010 10:26 pm

KATHS SAGAS YAWN YAWN Sorry .........i was getting my youngest off to sleep for the 2nd time!!! he had red cheeks & a cold!!! i thought ffs not another winter bug. Dont think i can cope with anymore kid illnesses ...I started to crave, thinking about smoking & feeling quite stressed at the THOUGHT of dealing with my calmness being knocked.. I THOUGHT a cig...I THOUGHT will i ever do this quit...I THOUGHT i wouldnt feel any better for smoking..I THOUGHT that the cig thing isnt a real THOUGHT & that its just a THOUGHT that wouldnt make anything any better its just an imaginary THOUGHT that dosnt exist because I THOUGHT The smoking thing is the addiction to nicotine which leads to more nicotine...so get over yourself kath I THOUGHT

Sorry needed to share.........I am okay the craving passed in minutes....Why do we have so mant thoughts CRIKEY if i didnt think too much id be half way there

I'm not a religious person but I quite like the symbolism of likening Nicotine addiction to The garden of eden and the snake offering the apple. Well it worked for me anyway. One of my "too many thought

hahaha this just made m LOL, I'm a thinker as well, it makes my head hurt sometimes  thoughts are great as long as we have the ability to make them what we want them to be, thats some of the key isn't it, when I used to crave like mad I would actually talk my way through it by saying "tough Bouds, your not having a ruddy cig, crave all you like, it's not happening, end of story" the crave would go, we must not allow our selves the thoughts if oh lovely ciggy ect, if you do then it's so hard to pull away and the craves get bigger and the thought pattern gets more intense

NO MORE!!! repeat after me "CRAVE ALL YOU LIKE, GO ON DO YOUR WORST NICOTINE FOR I AM NOT GOING TO SMOKE NO MATTER WHAT YOU THROW AT ME, GET DOWN YOU BEAST" well ok maybe not the get down you beast bit

try it, it might work it might not.............you might now think I'm mad, you would not to be too far wrong with THAT particular thought
