Day four!! woo hoo!

Day four!! woo hoo!

Postby lilacdreams » Mon Jul 26, 2010 5:44 pm

I am very impressed with myself. Four days!

Not too many physical symptoms apart from the restless legs. I have been invesitaging this throughout the day and have added stuff to my diet. I so want to quit smoking, I am now getting rather obsessed with trying to deal with any problem that would hinder my recovery!!

The real test will be this evening when a friend who smokes comes to visit. I may tell them to leave early if I find it too difficult. :Stop:

Even in one day this board has helped. It is a place to come and gain some strength when you feel like you may not make it. :)

I think this leg thing may be catching, my OH has just come home absolutely shattered because he didn't sleep last night as his legs were fidgety!!! Hmmm

OK, so it's not all that relevant to smoking but I love it anyway!

Woo hoo indeed :YaY: :YaY:
You should be impressed with yourself and very proud too!!! I hope your smoking friend will at least smoke outside and not around you and you may find that the nasty smell actually helps to put you off.
Glad you are finding the forum a help and I hope you sort those legs out soon

Well, my friend came to visit. We went on a two hour walk with the dog. He must have smoked about six cigs (not that I was counting). I did not smoke and only looked lovingly at the cigarette about twice. I do think however, I may struggle more if we meet up straight after I have finished work. Now that is when I am at my weakest....

The links on dopamine have been really interesting and I have been reading up a lot about it. It makes sense.

Adding your avatar is easy.......
If your Avatar is already on the net just right click and choose "copy image URL"
Then go to your "User control Panel" up the top and click on the "Profile" tab
On the left hand side you will see "Edit Avatar", click on that
In the box where it says Link off site, paste your URL that you have copied.

Clear as mud????????

Hope that helps
